Crock Pot Dyeing
Ok, so I have been solar dyeing for about a month. And it works well..but takes FOREVER. So today I decided to crock pot dye. I hope I did it right. LOL. I found a brand new large crock pot at Goodwill for $7. You just cannot beat the prices there. So we shall see how my pumpkin patch fiber comes out. Wish me luck.

Crock pot dyeing is awesome Jenn!!! You can get some really deep rich colors when doing single colors and if the water exhausts to clear you can take the fiber out and just add more citric acid or vinegar, toss in dye of another color and some fiber and you're ready to go again. The first batch takes the longest because it has to heat up but the other batches don't take nearly as long. Can't wait to see your pumpkin patch fiber.....I've been lovin' orange lately, must be fall ;)
